Handling & Filling System
We developed our stone dust storage and filling system to eliminate the manual handling of stone dust, which offers convenience and reduces time spent on manual labour. The system consists of a bulk silo mounted above a borehole leading down into the mine. The silo is filled by a delivery tanker and the stone duster is filled underground via the borehole and remote controls situated at the filling site underground. The stone duster can also be filled on surface with a screw conveyor system. The silos are available in different sizes to suit the requirements of each mine.
