The biostabilizer is a rotating, mobile device with an insulated drum, which enables it to work in an open space. The period of dynamic processing of input material is approximately 3 days. During this period, the waste is subjected to continuous movement in a rotating drum with a free flow of air. The process is controlled electronically, with the measurement and recording of prevailing temperature values, as well as the content of process gases. In the event of a disturbance in the stability of the process, a fan is switched on that supplies an additional amount of air. The entire process takes place at a temperature of 45 to 65°C, which ensures complete inactivation of pathogenic agents contained in the waste. The free flow of air to the constantly moving waste particles, as well as the temperature, enable a time limit for their stabilization of up to 3 days.
