The Tektronix 7A29 Wide-Bandwidth Single-Trace Plug-In Amplifier has a bandwidth of 1 GHz in the 7100-Series mainframes. This unit has 10 mV/div to 1 V/div calibrated deflection factors and 50-ohms input.
The 7A29 is was designed to use in the vertical compartments of the 7000 Series Oscilloscopes, with the 7104.
The input is 50 ohms impedance with selectable AC or DC coupling and automatic overload disconnect. Seven calibrated deflection factors, variable deflection factor and polarity invert selections are provided.
Readout encoding provides for deflection factor readout included coding probes, uncelebrated indication, polarity invert and identify functions.
A variable signal delay of +/-0.5 nanoseconds is available with the option 04 instrument.
