ETS-Lindgren's Model 5211 is a wireless interface test system that checks the transmit and receive functions of a cell phone with or without a direct cable to the RF or data port. This CAI or universal air interface allows the operator to perform tests faster and simulate real-world environments.
The portable housing consists of a patented near-field coupler that is coupled to the phone's own antenna and has a flat response over the frequency range of 700 MHz to 2 GHz. To eliminate zero and hot spots, each housing is lined with an ETS-Lindgren RF absorber for improved test repeatability. This enclosure is suitable for mobile/cellular radio testing devices.
