Carpigiani's 191-BAR-E is a countertop soft serve ice cream freezer with one valve for a single flavour. It is available in 3 configurations: gravity-fed and air-cooled; pump-fed and air-cooled; or pump-fed and water-cooled. The gravity-fed model has a plastic beater and 19-quart hopper while the pump models have a stainless steel beater and 13-quart hopper.
The machine's standby mode keeps products in the freezing cylinder's temperature in the safe range. It has the lowest number of parts to clean in the industry, a 1.2 HP beater motor, R449A refrigerant, and NSF certification. It's fed from the back of the cylinder, meaning priming is not needed. There are also audible signals for when a refill is needed.
