Axis' AX-13GAiX is an automatic, gear-driven, heavy-duty slicer that features a 0.60-HP motor, a 13-inch blade, and variable speed, making it ideal for usage in supermarkets, delis, schools, industrial kitchens, hotels, and any other environment with a high-volume workload.
The sharpener assembly contains no plastic and is made complete of aluminum, ensuring durability. The blade is one-piece, chromium-plated, forged carbon steel while the side shaft is made from ground, chromed steel. The blade's RPM is 315 and the cutting size is 10.625 inches by 8.25 inches. By using the slice adjustment knob, you can cut slices up to 1 inch thick.
The ball bearings and bushing are self-lubricating. There is a built-in, but removable, dual-action, two stone blade sharpener. The carriage has a plastic protector to keep hands a safe distance from the blade while it's in use.
