The UVP Crosslinker CL 1000 provides PCR sample contamination control, photonlinking of DNA, UV curing, and other UV functions. This UV crosslinker provides near-uniform UVC lighting at a wavelength of 365 nm, continuously measures the UV energy, and adjusts variations. Through this control system, users can also set their sample exposure so the crosslinker automatically deactivates after the dose has been reached. The UVP Crosslinker CL 1000 features microprocessor control, a UV sensor feedback system, and multiple setting functionality, such as presets for UV time and energy exposure. Users may also set their own desired energy or time exposure parameters. The maximum UV exposure energy is 999,900 microjoules per cm2, and the maximum time exposure is 999.9 minutes. There is an internal safety interlock, a UV-blocking window for monitoring, and two safety fuses to protect users.
