Molecular Devices Spectramax iD5 Microplate Reader
The Molecular Devices SpectraMax iD5 Plate Reader offers your lab a sleek, multi-mode microplate reader designed to speed up and customize your workflow. This plate reader measures absorbance, Top and Bottom fluorescence and luminescence, TRF, Fluorescence Polarization, and both HTRF and HTRF top and bottom. This plate reader also features several innovations, including near-field communication, guided touchscreen navigation, and quick sync.
The SpectraMax iD5 Plate Reader is a monochromator system that is tunable in 1 nm increments and has an absorbance wavelength range of 230-1000 nm. Fluorescence readings are taken from top to bottom, with a range of Ex: 250–830 nm and Em: 270–850 nm, and the luminescence range is from 300 to 850 nm. The optical system helps reduce background noise, thanks to an ultracooled PMT, which gives users a wide dynamic range.
