The
SimpliAmp Thermal Cycler
. The digital touch screen guides users through programming and quick checks, and simulations. From the digital control panel it’s easy to adjust the ramp rate, and edit a program while an experiment is running. The Applied Biosystems SimpliAmp is cloud enabled, so you can freely design and upload protocols safely and securely. You can also check on a run, or even see if an instrument is available for use all from a mobile or desktop device. PCR volume range is between 10–100 μL, with a max block ramp rate of 4°C/sec, and a sample ramp rate of 3°C/sec. The onboard computer has the capacity of over 1000 protocols, and features overwrite protection. Used can also export their settings and results to an external USB drive for extra storage capacity.
